Some people will do anything to turn the heads of the opposite s-x, but this doesn’t seem like a good move. Datta Phuge of India wants a woman so badly that he spent $22,754 (£14, 000) on a gold shirt.
2 Chainz, Kanye West, Big Sean, and more, have all been known to rock extra gaudy gold chains, but this guy has them beat…buy a landslide.
The 32-year-old, who works as a money-lender and hails from Pimpri Chinchwad, purchased the tacky shirt made by 15 goldsmiths working 16 hours a day, and taking two weeks to construct. “I know I am not the best looking man in the world but surely no woman could fail to be dazzled by this shirt? The gold shirt has been one of my dreams. It will be an embellishment to my reputation as the ‘Gold Man of Pimpri,’” Phuge told an Indian news outlet.
Even with the hefty price tag, Phuge must feel like he got a deal since the shirt came with a bunch of extra pieces. In addition to being an eye-grabbing creation, the shirt comes with matching cuffs, rings made from the leftover materials, Swarovski crystal buttons, and a belt.
