2 Pistols returns with “All I Know,” a track whose billing on paper reads like a “which of these do not belong” math problem. The upbeat percussion and sped up hi-hats fit the standard for featured artist French Montana, but it’s the Talib Kweli appearance that’s sure to leave folks scratching their heads.

Oddly enough, the Brooklyn MC’s verse works here, which says a lot about his proficiency as a lyricist. This happens to be a revamped version of “All I Know,” as the original featured fellow King’s County rapper Joell Ortiz, instead of Kweli.

The track is centered around a chorus that laments, “All I know is fast money and homicide/I see no way, so I grind/Tell me what you would do if your life was just like mine.” This allows each MC to detail the highs and lows of living the street life, which never gets old in Hip-Hop.

It’s been a while since 2 Pistols has consistently dropped material, but the Florida rapper looks to build on the buzz established by his 2012 mixtape, Arrogant.
