Snoop Lion’s Rasta reincarnation rubbed Bunny Wailer the wrong way this week, and  Reggae legend was threatening to file a lawsuit.

Last year, Snoop Dogg announcedhe was changing his to Snoop Lion after a long trip to Jamaica, and named his next album Reincarnated which will be accompanied by a movie/documentary of the same title.

Reportedly, Wailer claims Snoop has engaged in “outright fraudulent use of Rastafari Community’s personalities and symbolism” — and has failed to meet “contractual, moral and verbal commitments.”

Snoop finally spoke out about Wailer’s comments in a classy way in this recent interview with LargeUp TV.

“You know one thing about Bunny Wailer, is that if you ain’t real, he ain’t gonna be around you. So the dynamics of what we were doing and what accomplished and what we are as a unit as a team brought that together,” Snoop said in the interview. “The spirit definitely brought that together cause that’s my big brother and he needed to hit me with some information that was off camera that wasn’t captured. It was information that me and him shared that was private and that was special and was some seeds that I know will continue to grow.”
