Denver Mayor Michael Hancock finally made good on his bet with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.

Before the Baltimore Ravens took on the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional playoffs, Mayor Hancock made a wager with Mayor Rawlings-Blake that if his Broncos lost to her Ravens, Hancock would send Rawlings-Blake a box of dry aged “cowboy cut” rib eye steaks from Lombardi Brothers Meats and do Ray Lewissignature pre-game dance. Had the Broncos defeated the Ravens, Rawlings-Blake said the Washington Monument would be lit in the blue and orange colors of the Broncos.

Although that game was about three weeks ago, Mayor Hancock could not make good on his bet due to severely straining his right quadriceps two days after the game was over. Many speculated that Hancock was flaking on the bet despite the mayor’s spokeswoman, Amber Miller, stating: “Our mayor is headed to the doctor now to find out when he will make a recovery and be able to fulfill his bet with Baltimore.”

Well, Hancock is a man of his word. He released this video last night of himself frustratingly reading a newspaper, presumably about the Super Bowl-bound Ravens, before breaking into Ray Lewis’ pre-game dance routine over Nelly’s “Hot In Herre.”

He went on to wish Lewis good luck in his final game this Sunday. Check out the full video down below.
