Kevin Hart will become the latest comedian to host Saturday Night Live. Hart is tapped to helm the show, next month.

Over the last several months, Hart’s career has been on the upswing. After appearing in the romantic comedy, Think Like A Man, the Philly native landed a gig on ABC’s Modern Family, and the BET show Real Husbands of Hollywood. The aforementioned mock reality show was the highest rated cable program upon its premiere, last month. “I personally thank you on behalf of the rest of the cast we thank you,” the father of two said during a RHOH screening. “We put a group of people together that I did not see ever coming together. All egos were put to the side, we all made a great television show.”

Hart was announced as SNL host  on Saturday’s episodes which starred Django Unchained actor, Christoph Waltz. Hart’s hosting gig will come alongside musical gust Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, whose hit “Thrift Shop” topped Billboard’s album charts selling more than 3 million copies in the U.S..
