Snoop Dogg made his first SXSW appearance as Snoop Lion, headlining the Cashmere Agency’s “LIONFEST- A celebration of ‘Reincarnated’”  at VICELAND. The Lion rocked a crowd of 2,000 fans to debut reggae/dancehall influenced songs, off his forthcoming Reincarnated release.

Snoop performed “So Long,” “Lala,” “No Guns Allowed,” “Lighter Up,” and mixed in some of his more notable records like “Gin & Juice,” “Nothing But A G Thang,” “Let’s Get High,” and the Grammy-nominated “Young Wild and Free.”

Diplo & Major Lazer—who have been working with the West Coaster on his reggae release—also hit the stage, hyping the crowd as they tossed confetti, stage dived, and crowd surfed in a bubble. Additionally, dancehall artist, Movado, who is featured on Reincarnated, took the stage as well as singer/songwriter Angel Hunte, who freestyled over Bauuer’s “Harlem Shake,” and did some songs with Snoop. Hunte worked with the rapper on his latest project, and is featured in the Reincarnated documentary, which chronicles his trip to Jamaica and putting the project together.

Daz and Kurupt were also on hand for the festivities.

Reincarnated, the movie, hits select theaters today, while the album drops April 23.
