TMZ posted a story touting the dead Boston Marathon bomber’s ties to Hip-Hop. A clear reach, the story has pissed many off.
The source of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s alleged Hip-Hop pedigree, the post was titled Dead Bombing Suspect Heavy Into Hip Hop, was an e-mail address associated to him from the website “real-hiphop.com.” That’s it.
Tsarna is the older brother of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who is currently being pursued by authorities after escaping last night, reportedly by barreling through police with a stolen Mercedes-Benz SUV then hopping out and making a run for it. Allegedly, he had to run over his older brother’s body to make his getaway.
The question is, what 26-year-old hasn’t been into Hip-Hop at least for a hot second?
Nile “Low Key” Ivey of the blog YouHeardThatKnew probably summed it up best. “Ya’ll surprised at TMZ still?,” he tweeted. “TMZ put that story up knowing y’all would react. Smh.”
Mission accomplished.
