With only days to go before his Bad Boy debut officially releases May 21, French Montana whets appetites by transforming his reggae inspired jam “Freaks” into a full fledged posse cut on a star studded remix.
The Bronx MC keeps it all in the family, as Nicki Minaj returns for round two and frequent MMG and We The Best Music Group collaborators DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Wale and Mavado join him on the track. The Jamaican crooner even sings rendition of Chaka Demus and Pliers’ classic “Murder She Wrote,” which the song samples, to give it a bit more authenticity.
Like the “Freaks” remix, the Coke Boy‘s forthcoming LP Excuse My French will be jam packed with features. Expect more appearances from Rick Ross, as well as appearances from his brethren Max B, Birdman, Diddy, The Weeknd, Raekwon, and Scarface just to name a few.
