Those in the know about sneaker culture‘s better shoe collaborations in recent years should be familiar with Ronnie Fieg, and the work he’s done with brands like ASICS, New Balance, and more. In conjunction with his store Kith NYC, he returns with more heat via the “East Coast Project,” a capsule collection of footwear and apparel.

“New York City” and “Miami Beach” editions of the ASICS Gel Lyte III are the flagship product in the collection. The Big Apple shoe draws inspiration from the NBA’s Knicks color way, and features a well blended combination of royal blue and orange, pairing a perforated pigskin toebox and quarter panel with a soft nubuck quarter and heel cap.

The Dolphins-inspired “Miami Beach” shoe differs, as a predominantly aqua blue upper of microperf nubuck and woven mesh is complimented by contrasting orange and white accents. Both sneakers come with multiple lace options and custom ultralight cotton, super invisible socks with embroidered detailing and ultralight cushioning for all of your fashion needs.

Each of the “East Coast Project” editions of the Gel Lyte III will be available at the limited-time pop-up in Miami tomorrow, May 2 through May 10. There will be two adjacent storefronts, as the Miami side opens from 11am to 3pm and the next door New York side of the location opens from 4pm to 8pm.

May 10, Kith’s Manhattan shop will drop the “New York City” colorway, while the Brooklyn location will exclusively carry the “Miami Beach” colorway. Both shoes will be available on its online store May 10 as well at 11am EST.

The full sneaker and sock set will retail for $145 USD. See photos of the kicks on the following pages.
