If there was a preliminary list of winner’s for 2013, Justin Timberlake would undoubtedly be among the top nominees. His successful collaborative LP with Timbaland, 20/20 Experience, continues to sit high on the charts, but the Memphis crooner made two announcements in the last 24 hours revealing that he has no plans of slowing down.
The first tidbit of news was a formal release date for 20/20 Experience Pt. 2, which will tentatively hit shelves September 30. Timberlake confirmed whispers of a potential sequel for his comeback album some time ago, but he gave further life to that confirmation after posting a photo of himself in the studio and the aforementioned date.
If rumors are correct, Timbaland will handle all production duties again.
This morning J.T. dropped another bomb when he revealed plans to embark on “The 20/20 Experience” world tour to support both projects. The international tour kicks off after his “Legends Of Summer” tour with Jay-Z in Montreal on October 31, and will travel through North America, Europe, South America and Australia.
Tickets go on sale beginning May 13 at 10 AM, while his fan club, The Tennessee Kids, will have access to pre-sales May 7. Fans can check the tour dates after the jump, and see the picture Timberlake posted last evening on the following page.
