Following their phenomenal Summer Jam performance, the Hot 97 morning crew drops a brand new track from Wu-Tang Clan called “Family Reunion.”

Programming director Ebro Darden said that RZA personally sent him the track. With that, we receive a soulful song that samples The O’Jays classic jam of the same title. Eddie Levert’s bellowing voice sings “Family Reunion, it’s so nice to come together,” while Masta Killa, Method Man, and Ghostface Killah show age hasn’t been a determining factor in their pen game. Ghost even dedicates a quick bar to fallen member ODB.

We have to thank the legendary group and Hot 97, because this is straight feel good music right here. We reserve the right for older Hip-Hop fans to tell young folks “You don’t know anything about this youngster,” accordingly.

Despite previous rumors, “Family Reunion” is the first offering from Wu-Tang’s 20th anniversary project A Better Tomorrow. Fans can expect that to drop some time this summer if things go as planned.

Until then, get your two-step on to The Wu’s new tune below.

UPDATE: The Wu liberate a CDQ of “Family Reunion” for your listening pleasure. Hear that below.
