Many consider Wale to be one of Hip-Hop’s most fashionable figures. Sooner or later, it’s customary for artists that fit the bill of being a trendsetter to drop a clothing brand of their own. With that, we receive the a first look at Folarin’s entrepreneurial pursuit WRKNG Title.
Rather than creating a t-shirt line like many have done in the past, the “Bad” rapper specializes in accessories. He’s actually been spotted wearing WRKNG Title beanies on a few occasions. According to the MMG rapper, the brand blends his personal style with references to trends in runway fashion, sneaker culture and professional sports.
“I saw something missing when I would shop for myself,” Wale said.
He continued, “I had ideas about a certain design, fit, material. It’s a blessing that I was able to make the vision a reality with some great partners [including vets from BBC and Donna Karan.] I just want to provide a great look with great quality.”
