And just like that, summer 2013 has reached legendary status. Credit that to Funny Or Die announcing Dave Chappelle as the co-headliner of their “Oddball Comedy & Curiosity” fall tour.

The brilliant mind that brought us the critically acclaimed sketch comedy series Chappelle’s Show will share top billing honors with comedy/music duo Flight of the Concords on a five weekend tour that will hit 13-cities.

Other performers currently listed are Al Madrigal, Brody Stevens, Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Mulaney, and Kristen Schaal.

The festival will also boast “two stages, street performers, vendors, psychics, freaks, tasty treats and more.”

The “Oddball Comedy & Curiosity” tour marks Chappelle’s return to high-profile touring. Prior to this, select few individuals had been privileged enough to witness the legendary comedian perform a string of rare shows —one of which was alongside Chris Rock and Kevin Hart— in the past couple of years. At one time, the Chappelle and fellow veteran quipster Rock were in talks to go on tour together, but further details have yet to materialize.

The festival will be promoted by Live Nation, and is the product of an increasing popularity of comedy shows at similar events like South By Southwest and Bonnaroo.
