Hip-Hop is being very candid on their feelings about the Trayvon Martin case verdict. The latest to speak their mind is MMG rhymer Stalley, who returns today with a record he kept the lid on for a while called “Raise Your Weapons.”

“I did this song almost a year ago but it’s so fitting for today and the events taking place in the world right now,” tweeted the Ohio rapper. With that, we receive a powerful tune featuring a bevy of social commentary from Stalley.

The Block Beataz crafted the beat, which begins with a somber melody that changes into a hard hitting, drum heavy jam about halfway through the cut.

There’s no word on if “Raise Your Weapons” will appear on Stalley’s forthcoming mixtape. Fortunately, you have to wait very long to find out. The project drops August 8.

Check out the tune below.
