Hip-Hop fans invaded Williamsburg Park for an evening of good music and to help celebrate Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg at his 2nd Annual PeterPalooza concert on Saturday, July 20. Attendees braved two rounds of downpours and scorching heat as they enjoyed performances from World’s Fair, ScHoolboy Q, Meek Mill and Odd Future, who headlined the show.

Of course there were surprises as well. World’s Fair brought out the Brooklyn underground rap heroes Flatbush Zombies and Bodega Bamz. Meek Mill got an assist from Fabolous as they performed “Racked Up Shawty.” The MMG rapper also brought out G.O.O.D. Music artist Travis Scott and let him rock the Williamsburg stage. Meek also paid a stunning tribute to Lil Snupe who was killed last month.

Joell Ortiz performed a quick set by himself and impressed the crowd when he spit a freestyle acapella. Funk Flex also did one of his classic quick sets to get the crowd “turnt up”. Also, Rosenberg’s Hot 97 family, includingVP of Programming Ebro Darden and morning show co-host Cipha Sounds, were on hand to wish the radio personality a happy 35th birthday.
