Leading up to the 2011 season, many thought that the Philadelphia Eagles were a sure shot to go to the Superbowl. They had just added Nnamdi Asomugha, Justin Babin and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to the squad. Michael Vick was poised to duplicate his stellar efforts from 2010 and Vince Young was brought in to back him up.
During training camp reporters catch Vince slipping in an interview where he infamously refers to the newly assembled crew as “The Dream Team”. The dream turned into a nightmare and they finished the season with an 8-8 record with no sight of the playoffs. Damn homie.
