The Underachievers are still riding the wave of their stellar 2012 mixtape Indigoism, and return today with a new visual for “Land Of The Lords.” Consider this a two-for-one special, because the treatment is also the lookbook for clothing brand, KidSuper.
The Brookyln-bred duo rock their fresh fits while kicking some of their equally potent bars. Our personal favorite is Issa Dash’s, “The Beast Coast we better than most folks/And no hope for n***as that be testing our brain growth, you get smoked/Like my herbal shuttles, run to be the sun child/Can’t walk a mile in my shoes cause we run that Brookline.”
More jewels like those can be heard on “The Proclamation” tandem’s Indigoism project. In addition, The Underachievers have been working on a follow up to the aforementioned body of work that’s due to release this month.
