In case you forgot, YMCMB’s Lil Twist is an artists first and he returns today with a new song called “I Don’t Care,” featuring Chris Brown.
The 20-year-old is clearly making an attempt to penetrate radio with this release, which happens to be produced by proven hit maker Hit-Boy. Listeners will be greeted by thumping percussion in the track’s opening seconds before Twist enters the fold with a verse about trying to scoop a bad chick.
Brown accentuates the tune with some smooth vocals and chants of “I don’t care.”
Here’s to hoping that the young rapper keeps his blinders on and focuses on the music. If not, we doubt if he’ll flourish through the bad press surrounding his shenanigans with Justin Bieber. Listen to “I Don’t Care” below.
