Stalley will deliver a shortened, seven track EP version of Honest Cowboy tomorrow (September 17). To support that, the bearded rapper liberates a video for “Cup Inside A Cup.”
As usual, Stalley finds comfort while cruising the city in his old school Chevy. But this time, a double cup of the purple drank has him grooving to the song’s hazy instrumental.
Visually, the treatment compliments the message with ominous lighting and scenes doused in the color purple and fluorescent lighting.
The track samples Drake’s “Cup inside a cup, smoking Ghostface Killah” from So Far Gone‘s “November 16th.”
“Cup Inside A Cup” is one of four new drops MMG’s unleashed today. Seems as if the crew are making their presence known prior to Self Made, Vol. 3‘s release (also September 17). Check out Stalley’s “Cup Inside A Cup” below.
