Blu and Nottz offer up a soulful second offering from their upcoming collaborative EP, Gods In The Spirit. Titled “End Of The World,” the track features the former XXL Freshman rhyming alongside Ohio crooner, Rashad.

A buttery smooth bass line laden with Nottz’ patented, thumping percussion sets a smooth mood on the cut. A hint of synthesized vocals, a la Roger Troutman, also add a nice touch. Together, the rapping/singing duo feed off each other’s energy to deliver potent lyrics and crisp vocals.

Prior to “End of The World,” Blu and Nottz debuted “Boyz II Men,” featuring Nitty Scott, MC.

Gods In The Spirit releases October 22 via Coalmine Records. Hear why “End Of The World” has more soul than a sock with hole below.
