In a sea of new album from Hip-Hop’s elite, Rick Ross was nowhere to be found. But that will officially change December 17 when he releases his long awaited opus, Mastermind.

A precautionary tweet or two from The Bawse readied fans for his 5 PM announcement. “Mastermind. 4th Quarter. Takeover. Its Over. Get Ready. 12/17,” read the message. And with that, the MMG frontman will enter his sixth LP into a forum that includes Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, Kanye West’s Yeezus, Pusha T’s My Name Is My Name, and Drake’s Nothing Was The Same.

Ross is currently pushing the project’s rumbling Future-assisted single, “No Game,” which is gaining a lot of steam.

The Miami rhymer described Mastermind‘s sound as orchestral during our discussion at the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards. See two pieces of preview artwork on the following pages.
