A day after announcing an upcoming collaborative mixtape with Casey Veggies, Rockie Fresh liberates a new solo track called “Headquarters.” Again, the young rapper proves that he and TNGHT producer Lunice have a strong working chemistry.
This cut continues where the pair’s previous efforts, “Superman OG” and “Panera Bread,” left off. Rockie commands his haters to “stop the b**ching” over jittery production that’s full of Lunice’s patented galactic sounds.
“I always had the foresight to see through these n***as/ It’s probably why I’m rolling all in your b**ch n***a/ Now you bone less, old chicken strip n***a,” the Chicago native raps.
He and Lunice will embark on a joint North American tour next week. Here’s to hoping that the rapping-producing duo have a full body of work on the way. Until that comes to fruition, hear “Headquarters” below.
