The time has come for the Big Apple’s own Troy Ave to show and prove, as he debuts his long-awaited New York City: The Album.

The young MC prides himself on being a true representation of NYC Hip-Hop, or more particularly his native Brooklyn. In fact, his moniker is taken from an actual street in Crown Heights and his bravado matches the feel of his borough. Such can be heard on early releases from the project like “New York City,” featuring Raekwon, N.O.R.E., and Prodigy.

Now, listeners can digest the full 17-track project. Troy handled much of this go around on his own. Outside of the aforementioned legends, the only guest appearances come from Pusha T, Tony Yayo, King Sevin, and Young Lito.
