Rich Homie Quan isn’t known for his riot-inciting songs. Actually, the Atlanta rapper recently showed his charitable side this past Thanksgiving by feeding the homeless.

None of that matters at a dim-lit club when tensions arise. While performing his hit song, “Some Kind Of Way,” in Columbus, OH shots rang out and as the crowd scrambled to get out of there, a 24-year-old man was shot and killed during the ruckus.

Reports The Columbus Dispatch:

Jeremiah I. Frazier, 24, was at the Red Zone bar, 303 S. Front St., when he was shot about 2:30 a.m., Columbus police said.

He was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:21 a.m.

Frazier’s family, who lives on Miller Avenue, declined to speak to a reporter, and police didn’t provide a motive or other details about the shooting.

Ironically this wasn’t the first Rich Homie Quan shooting in Columbus, OH. In 2013. At the Red Zone.

On November 9, Freddie Johnson was shot in the back as the Atlanta rapper performed on the same stage. What would possess his team to book another show there is beyond us. [Editor’s Note: Yours truly is from Columbus, OH and the Red Zone should have stayed closed years ago.]

Hit the flip to see the video of the incident which at press time, serves as the only evidence the police have to go off of.
