Chicago has two rising stars in G Herbo (also known as Lil Herb) and Lil Bibby, who made strong strides in Hip-Hop towards the end of 2013. The rhyming duo ride their increasing momentum into the new year with a new track aptly titled “A Year Ago.”
It’s a wonder what can be accomplished in 365 days. Both Herbo and Bibby agree, as they boast about their current circumstance and recall how they were broke not long ago. There’s far more of the former than that latter, though.
Herbo and Bibby spit their rhymes over a knocking beat by DJ L. This track may or may not be a freebie, because we know very little about Herbo’s forthcoming Welcome To Fazoland: The Motion Picture project and what songs it will contain. Listeners can expect that some time this year.
