Although they were never known for their tremendous record sales, Pusha T and No Malice, the brothers collectively known as the Clipse remain one of Hip-Hop’s favorite duos of all-time.

Their penchant for drug raps with undeniable flair and witty metaphors kept the Virginia natives entering doors usually reserved for rappers with platinum keys. After Pusha T took on the challenge of being G.O.O.D. Music’s ambassador’s while Kanye made techno music, No Malice renewed his relationship with God and made his own brand of ghetto gospel.

Pusha T was recently spotted working on his sophomore effort with The Neptunes but reportedly, there was more than met the eye with those pictures.

According to Karen Civil, the Pusha T sessions have been doubled down to reunite the Brothers Thornton to create a new album the old-fashioned way: without a middle man and label pushbacks.

It will mark their first album since 2009’s Til the Casket Drops and first independent album as a duo. The music industry is laden with do-it-yourself models these days so it should become an automatic success the moment it drops.
