Although nothing lasts forever, YMCMB has stood the test of the time in a rap era where crews rise and fall like tidal waves.

Whether the bird call is for Cash Money, Rich Gang, OVO or Barbie, everything has boded well for the house Lil Wayne built in his daddy’s backyard.

Now that 2014 is in full effect, the Young Money roster is making their presence felt with a new compilation album, Young Money: Rise of an Empire, the label’s first since 2009. As expected, it falls in the line with the core values previously heard on all their projects.

Via Rap-Up:

“This compilation is a very special release for the label,” said Young Money COO Cortez Bryant. “We Are Young Money helped launch the careers of our first generation of acts with Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga. Even though we’ve been honored with accolades as a company, our hunger hasn’t diminished or dwindled. We’re hungrier than ever, and we’re still building.”

Young Money CEO Lil Wayne added, “There’s nothing like it when the whole family gets together in the studio. YMCMB is stronger than ever, and everybody was truly on fire. We’re all blessed to be a part of this incredible Empire as it continues to thrive. I can’t wait for what’s next. Keep watching.”

To make matters even more convenient, it appears Drake’s celebratory new anthem Trophies will also find a loving home on the compilation. The LP will also feature the rest of the YM cadre including Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Gudda Gudda, Shanell, Lil Twist, Christina Milian and some of new members to the inner circle.

“We Alright” will serve as the first single and it features one of the new members in Euro, hailing from Providence, Rhode Island. Listen to the stream below and look out for the entire project to drop on March 11.
