Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan has an unfortunate history of violence following him from state to state, and it’s resulting in concertgoers losing their lives.

Two people were shot and killed outside the famed tourist attraction Mardi Gras World following his Fat Tuesday show last night.

A third man was also shot and injured inside the venue.

Reports Nola.com/The Times-Picayune:

Police said the two shootings, which occurred more than an hour apart, were unrelated.

Around 11:15 p.m., a man’s body lay in the parking lot of the riverfront parade float den and event space at 1380 Port of New Orleans. Another man’s body was found in a silver car nearby.

A crowd gathered and onlookers sobbed as authorities arrived on the scene of Mardi Gras World. A man outside of the crime scene sat slumped against a wall of the nearby Ernest N. Morial Convention Center crying “They took my baby, they took my son.”

One of the men killed was Deron Hitchens, 25, according to his grandmother, Viola Galmon, who arrived at scene after she heard something happened at the concert her grandson attended.

“He wasn’t the kind of person to get into this fussing and fighting,” Galmon said.

The other man was 28. His name was not immediately available.

In December 2013, a couple of days before Christmas, a man was gunned down in Columbus, OH as Rich Homie Quan was performing his signature hit “Some Type of Way.”

No less than a month later, his Cape Girardeau, MO performance was halted due to a shooting as well.

Good luck booking shows from now on.
