Lil Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant has revealed that Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V will not be released on May 5, as previously reported by YMCMB artist Drake.
Ever since the Toronto rapper announced May 5 as the formal drop date for Weezy’s highly anticipated Tha Carter V album, fans have been expecting just that—a new addition to the Carter series.
But Bryant has reported otherwise, though he failed to mention the album is actually being pushed back. “I’m not going to release that date ’til I really, really, really know when it really, really, really is,” said Bryant in an interview with NeverNotDope TV. “Pay attention this week coming.”
