Back in February, 2 Chainz debuted a Young Chop-produced track called “A-Rod,” featuring French Montana, at the New York City stop of his “2 Good to be T.R.U.” tour. Today, the duo return in the official video for the cut.
Like much of the Hair Weave Killer’s catalog, this record will be immediately embedded into listeners’ memory banks due to its memorable chorus. “Running through the park like I’m A-Rod/ Walking through the park like I’m A-Rod/ Smoking through that strong, that’s that steroid,” he chants with vigor.
To match the tone, Chainz and Frenchie migrate to Yankee Stadium in The Bronx to get their point across. Add some scantily clad eye candy in the mix, and you’ve essentially gotten the recipe for this clip.
