Last week, VH1 debuted the first episode of This Is Hot 97 at a screening party in New York City’s Gotham Comedy Club. Tonight, the public gets to view it firsthand at 10:30 p.m. EST.
This Is Hot 97 offers viewers an inside look at the daily grind that breathes life into New York’s staple Hip-Hop radio station, as it simultaneously follows the day-to-day rituals of radio personalities like Angie Martinez, Funk Flex, Cipha Sounds, Peter Rosenberg and more, including the ringleader behind all this, “Old Man” Ebro Darden.
The Mona Scott Young-produced sketch comedy will deliver a dose of pure unadulterated entertainment. Following the episode at 11 p.m., the radio station will be streaming the live after show HOT 97 After Hours where fans can ask the cast questions about the reality show.
