Charles Barkley may have figured out the key to Michael Jordan’s enormous financial success in his retirement days and it has nothing to do with selling sneakers.

The NBA Hall of Famer and TNT analyst told Conan O’Brien the great MJ has no love for the meek of the earth and even gets reprimanded for his act of kindness towards the less fortunate. He tells Team Coco, “There’s nobody cheaper than Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan” to uproarious laughter from the audience.

Conan also got a kick out of the claims and urged Chuck to go on. “I always give homeless people money and [MJ will] always slap my hand and says, ‘If they can ask you for spare change they can say ‘Welcome to McDonalds,’ can I help you please?,'” he continued. Tiger Woods was also thrown under the bus as it was thrown into reverse.

Pippen and Jordan’s Chicago Bulls bested Barkley’s Phoenix Suns in the 1993 NBA championship so there is good reasoning for the public ribbing on Barkley’s behalf.

It was reported that Jordan grossed $90 million in revenue last year, a figure that shows no signs of decreasing with Nike’s seemingly unlimited supply of retro Air Jordans.

Check out the video of the hilarious interview below. Meanwhile we’re sure Mike had all those poor people on his mind as he puffed on a cigar while golfing it up at the 13th Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational in the picture found in the gallery.
