The player gene is one that typically develops with age and life experience, but Rome Fortune, a 22-year-old Atlanta rapper, has managed to channel that spirit early in life. Today, the newcomer debuted his Drives, Thighs, & Lies EP, which comes with two parts game and a dose of braggadocio.
Clocking in at a mere six tracks, Fortune makes every utterance of his raspy vocals count over production by Dun Deal, who manned the entire project. With a palette of records that include the PeeWee Longway and ShoMo-assisted “Get That,” the result is a combination of smooth records. Other guests include fellow ATLien Young Thug.
