Pharoahe Monch’s PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder LP is a heavy, emotional roller coaster that’s as descriptive as it’s thought provoking. “Broken Again,” a softer record that displays the range of song types on the project, receives a proper visual treatment.

Monch stars as a man who’s disheveled in the mind and body. Disruption of the former was reason enough for the Queens native to create a muse that’s a figment of his imagination. But in slowly losing grips with reality, the MC finds himself on the road to self-discovery and ultimately a new start, though it will be an uphill battle.

Again, “Broken Again” can be found on the conceptually sound PTSD album, which is currently available on iTunes now. It dons 17 tracks featuring guests like Black Thought and Talib Kweli.
