John Cena didn’t exactly conquer WWE’s Summer Slam 2014 last night (Aug. 17). He got washed, folded, and put away in the hall closet by Brock Lesner, now the WWE World Heavyweight champ.
To put it mildly, Cena was torn apart last night and it was pretty brutal. The look in Lesner’s eyes was like a lion seeking its prey. Those damn suplexes, and the stench of struggle and defeat steaming from Cena’s body — all hard to watch. Lesner even stepped on his foot at one point. How rude.
Don’t cry for him just yet, last night’s match taught Cena a life lesson.
Is it weird to use a Colin Powell quote here? Maybe. But in case you’re not aware, Powell is an authority on more than just wrestling, he’s also a selfie Jedi.
