Thirteen years ago today, America was rocked by the devastating terrorist act that knocked down the world’s tallest buildings and simultaneously ended the lives of countless of innocents.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, two hijacked airplanes crashed into New York City’s World Trade Center (Twin Towers) causing civilians to run amok as they watched Financial District employees jump from the skyscrapers for a bleak chance at surviving.
Even as the dust is settled and a new industrial complex replaces the old landmark, the historical tragedy still stings, especially for those who lost a loved one(s).
