The Wu-Tang Clan has a new record deal. The Staten Island group’s forthcoming album, A Better Tomorrow, will be released via Warner Bros. Records.

Recently, RZA revealed that the group’s album would also be delivered via special portable speaker. Working with Boombotix and the wireless, Bluetooth-enabled Boombot Rex device, the limited Wu-Tang Clan edition of the speaker will include eight tracks from A Better Tomorrow, a pair of exclusive non-album instrumentals, and an exclusive track before the album’s official release.

“Wu-Tang Clan is excited to join the Warner family of esteemed artists,” said Wu-Tang via a press release. “After 20 years in the business with different label outlets, we are delighted to be amongst a team of industry professionals who understand our unique artistry and will help spread it to the masses unadulterated. RZA and his brother Divine CEO of Wu-Tang felt synergy with executive/producer Rob Cavallo and Cameron Strang, and decided Warner Bros. would be a suitable home for their brand and band, and a great place to carry on the Wu-Tang saga. In the words of Ghostface, when it comes to being signed to Warner Bros., ‘we’re getting Bugs Bunny money.'”

Also, reportedly the new album will be in stores on Black Friday, November 28. The new album, touted as just the first on the label, will be released December 2.

The WTC’s last proper album, 8 Diagrams, was released in 2007 via Universal Motown Records.
