For reasons only he knows, Snoop began the week trashing Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea on his Instagram account. When she responded, and Snoop loaded up the Instagram memes and sparked what may be the dumbest celebrity feud in history.
The right combination of ego, money and boredom can quickly turn the rich and famous against each other. As Snoop and Iggy continue to possibly take shots at each other with additional pictures and Twitter posts, amuse yourself with some of the other more pointless feuds in entertainment.

Just because the beef between 50 Cent and Ja Rule was pointless doesn’t mean it wasn’t real. These two Queens, New York residents exchanged punches, diss records and included chain snatchings and a stabbing in their feud.

What good are charitable efforts if you cant turn them into a good feud? In 2010, Wyclef Jean and Sean Penn argued about their respective contributions to Haiti’s earthquake relief efforts, because when nearly 300,000 people are injured that’s what’s really important.
Nene Leakes is down to scream on people DMX style, and that includes Star Jones when the pair appeared on Celebrity Apprentice in 2011. Apparently this feud stems from Leakes’ opinion that Jones was bossy.
After her Aunt Viv character was subbed out for another actor in 1993, actress Janet Hubert and Will Smith were quoted trashing each other in the media. Hubert has maintained a steady but low-key career, while Smith has become a household name at the box office. You can judge who won this one for yourself.
Kanye West unleashed one of the most epic twitter rants ever on Jimmy Kimmel after having his 2013 Zane Lowe interview parodied. Cooler heads prevailed when West was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
50 Cent might be the king of pointless Hollywood fights. He and Cam’ron got into a hilarious shouting match live on Hot 97’s airwaves in 2007 when 50 referred to Koch Records (then home to Cam and other artists) as a graveyard.
There’s a thin line between love and hate. Eminem and Mariah Carey allegedly dated in 2001. They’ve exchanged several insulting songs from 2001 through 2009. Obsess much?
Nothing screams, “tough guy R&B star” like fighting over a parking space and a few tweets. The L.A. County Sheriff’s office ultimately closed a 2013 misdemeanor battery investigation filed by Frank Ocean against Chris Brown because there are actual crimes happening in Los Angeles.
Ask the Diplomats how difficult it is to maintain a united front when your crew leader is bragging about selling your contract to Def Jam. That was one of the many issues behind the Dipset feud in 2008.
Mimi strikes again! Proving that even celebrities aren’t immune to disliking their coworkers, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj fought throughout the entire 2012 season of American Idol.
Bottles flew and All NBA point guard Tony Parker suffered a potentially career threatening injury when Drake and Chris Brown allegedly brawled over Rihanna in 2012. Thankfully, the reconciled at the 2014 ESPY Awards.
In November of 2012, 50 Cent took to Twitter and admitted the cyber feud with Floyd Mayweather was staged at the boxer’s request. That hasn’t stopped them from continuing to throw shade at each other.
Drake felt the wrath when he rebuffed actress Amanda Bynes. She tweeted, “I want Drake to murder my vagina,” then later insulted him and other celebs before being diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolarity.
Snoop Dogg isn’t the first person to make a White Chicks joke about Iggy Azalia. But the fact that Snoop hosted Iggy on a 2011 episode of his YouTube show GGN News does support her claims of him being two-faced. You know it’s bad when Swaggy P has to intervene.
