As fate would have it, Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose share the same birthday. Considering that both women’s paths intertwine, Hip-Hop Wired decided to list a timeline detailing their respective rise to greatness.

January 2004: When Life Was Simple
Kim Kardashian was Paris Hilton’s sidekick long before she became the star of the proverbial show. Hilton used to talk to her “friend” all kinds of greasy on The Simple Life.
Brandy commissioned Kardashian to be her personal stylist and shopper after making a worse-dressed celebs list. As the singer’s style improved, so did business for Kim K, who also worked with Lindsay Lohan and more. Around that time Kardashian began dating the singer’s brother Ray J. More on that later
April 2009: High-Fashion With Some Caboose
Rose laid naked alongside West in a Louis Vuitton add, making her and her patented blonde buzz-cut world renowned.
After famously divorcing his wife Jessica Simpson, singer Nick Lachey rebounded with Kardashian. Doesn’t seem like a important now, but Lachey was a big deal in 2006. What a win for Kim K.

September 2009: Catsuit
Rose crushed the opposition by wearing a snakeskin catsuit that accentuated all of her curves to the 2009 MTV VMAs. Later that night, her drunken boyfriend, Kanye West, would interrupt Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Video of the Year, sparking major backlash in the process.
February 2007: Sexy Time
Sh*t hit the proverbial fan when Vivid Entertainment got its hands on a sex tape of Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Ray J. She tried to prevent the video from releasing, saying it would “ruin her,” but upon conceding, the tape actually propelled her to peak levels of fame.

July 2010: The Break-Up
By summer 2010, it had been confirmed that West and Rose called it quits. The latter, however, left the relationship with fame she didn’t previously have.

May 2007: All-Saints Season
Kardashian begins dating NFL star Reggie Bush.
November 2010: MBDTF
Rose and West’s breakup greatly inspired his 2010 My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album, though we highly doubt that she would consider this a win.
October 2007: Network TV
By the fall, Kardashian leveraged her new found fame into a show starring her entire family called Keeping Up With The Kardashians. As we all know, the E! series closed its ninth season in 2014.
November 2010: Uncle Russ
Rose gets a major look via an appearance on short-lived reality series Running Russell Simmons.
December 2007: The House The Hefner Built
At that point, a good portion of the world (with Internet access) had seen Kardashian’s goodies. Posing for Playboy magazine added some class to her nether regions, though.
January 2011: New Connections
Wiz Khalifa and Rose confirms that they are a couple.
September 2008: Dancing With The Stars
Kim K’s run on the ABC series was short-lived (she was eliminated third), but it was still a major look that provided her with national recognition.
March 2011: Tat My Name On You, So I Know It’s Real
The first sign of Wiz and Rose’s longevity were hand tattoos of each other’s names.
2010: Life Changes
Kardashian’s life took a hell of a swing with the turn of the decade. She and Reggie Bush were still dating when the New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl. The couple broke up soon after and Kardashian eventually began seeing another NFL player–Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin. But that relationship (if you’d call it that) soon ended.
By December she’d cover People magazine, in which she spoke on how weird it was to be single.
July 2011: King Me
Rose covered the July/August 2011 issue of King magazine, in which she got to discuss her relationship with Wiz and her breakup with West.

May 2011: The Humphries Saga
Kardashian’s status must have caught NBA baller Kris Humphries’ attention, because the two began dating. After just six months they were engaged.
November 2011: The Hostess With The….
Rose invaded television sets as a host on season 2 of BET’s Master of the Mix
August-October 2011: Grand Opening, Grand Closing
Just as quickly as Humphries and Kardashian were married, they were divorced in just 72 days. Life comes at you fast.
March 2012: Engagement
Wiz popped the big question, and as expected Rose’s answer was “Yes!”
April 2012: Mr. West Is In The Building
Kim K and Kanye West had dated before, but by spring of 2012, their relationship status was all but official tissue. Then came Yeezy’s not-so-sneak disses at Kris Humphries on “Cold.”
September/October 2012: Nobody Beats The Wiz
Wiz and Rose revealed that they were were expecting a child at the 2012 MTV VMAs. A month later, the couple covered the October/November 2012 issue of XXL.
May 2012: The Big O
Kardashian and her family had a revealing sit-down with Oprah, during which she discussed where her marriage went awry.
February 2013: Baby Bash
Amber gives birth to she and Wiz Khalifa’s son Sebastian “Bash” Taylor Thomaz.
Wiz and Rose got married in July 2013 and had an official ceremony a month later. The video above infers that a hell of a party preceded the joyous occasion.
June 2013: The North Star
KimYe welcomed their daughter North West into the world.
