Nicki Minaj promised that her upcoming The Pinkprint album, while musically diverse, would be her most emotionally revealing body of work to date. That said, a new track by the YMCMB Barbie titled “All Things Go” hit the Internets today.
Produced by Boi-1da and Vinylz, Minaj takes some time to vent over the slow tempo tune. Detailing her life prior to fame, the rapper discusses getting proposed to at a young age and likens her little brother Micaiah to a child she never had, as well as her broken relationship with her family.
As you can see, the song gets pretty heavy at times.
The Pinkprint hits retailers on December 15. Until then, peep the rhyme on “All Things Go” below.
