This is one way to get your buzz back, sort of. Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, was reportedly arrested in New York City early this morning (Dec. 17) along with members of his entourage.
According to KarenCivil.com, the Shmoney Dance rapper and members of his GS9 crew were was popped at Quad Studios in Manhattan. Also arrested was music exec Sha Money XL, who signed Bobby to his deal with Epic Records.
Numerous weapons were also confiscated, but according to MTV News, neither NYPD nor Epic Records have confirmed the arrests.
Previously, Shmurda was busted for smoking weed in a double parked car in October after being jailed back in June for gun possession.
Shmurda was set to perform in NYC today at a secret show at 12:30pm. Yeah, that ain’t happening.
