With the predictably disappointing GRAMMY ceremonies scheduled to air this weekend, there’s no better time to check in on Kanye West’s self-proclaimed “GRAMMY Family” of G.O.O.D. Music. But who is and is not on the roster these days?
The fluid nature of the squad has created some questions and some dope music. Let’s clear things up with G.O.O.D. Music: Where Are They Now?

Common
In addition to padding his acting resume, Common earned a Golden Globe for “Glory” off the Selma soundtrack. Comm’s also up for a GRAMMY in the Best Rap Album category. And even though he moved over to Def Jam under No ID’s Artium imprint, it’s all love between ‘Ye and Common.
John Legend
You can catch John Legend marrying models, winning GRAMMY awards and popping up at random Waffle House locations with Kim and Kanye.
GLC
GLC has been keeping busy dropping independent projects like 2014’s By Ism Means Necessary. His most recent mainstream look was on “Poe Mans Dream (His Vice)” from Kendrick Lamar’s 2011 album, Section.80.
Really Doe
Just because you haven’t seen him all over the place doesn’t mean Really Doe isn’t still moving. Really Doe co-wrote “All Of The Lights” from Kanye West’s 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Malik Yusef
Malik is to G.O.O.D. Music what Big Rube is to The Dungeon Family or what Papa Reu was to Cash Money. So it was only right Malik Yusef came through and blessed the mini G.O.O.D. reunion that was Cruel Summer.
Tony Williams
In addition to dropping his own King Or The Fool album in 2012, Williams was all over My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. He appeared on five tracks including “All Of The Lights” and “Runaway.”
Consequence
We all know Cons and ‘Ye had a bit of a falling out. And Consequence’s brand took a curious turn by beefing with Joe Budden while appearing on Love & Hip Hop: New York. But sometime between then and now, Cons patched things up and is reportedly contributing to Kanye West’s upcoming album.
Sa-Ra Creative Partners
The brothers from SRCP are pursuing solo endeavors with Taz Arnold building his TI$A brand, Shafiq Husayn is producing for himself, Lupe Fiasco, Blu and others. And Om’Mas Keith is doing the same, with his name popping up on projects by Frank Ocean and more.
Kid Cudi
Cudi announced an amicable split from G.O.O.D. Music in April of 2013, but he and Kanye remain cool, and Cudder appeared on both My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Cruel Summer.
Cyhi the Prynce
Cyhi dropped one of 2014’s most slept-on mixtapes with The Black Hystori Project, and prior to that, we found him popping up a few times on Cruel Summer. Also, he had dinner with Yeezy, Kim Kardashian, North West and Minister Louis Farrakhan. Yeah.
Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def)
This one is anybody’s guess. After supposedly signing with Kanye, Yasiin Bey has teased projects with Talib Kweli and Mannie Fresh. But the world hasn’t seen a proper retail project from the man formerly known as Mos Def since 2009.
Hit-Boy
After lending his talents to “Ni**as In Paris” and “Clique,” Hit-Boy fulfilled his contractual obligation to G.O.O.D. Music and signed a deal with Interscope to back his HS87 imprint.
