Marlon Wayans has been carefully calculating his next move since touring with his family last summer. It appears the 42-year-old comedian will be bossing up on network television when the weather gets nicer.

NBC has ordered a premiere run of a new celebrity comedy variety series that will likely have some viral moments.

Via Deadline:

NBC has ordered six hourlong episodes of I Can Do That! (working title), a comedy variety series hosted by Marlon Wayans, for premiere this summer. The series, based on an Israeli format, will feature six celebrities, who each week in teams of two, will put on a show featuring everything from song and dance to magic and danger. Signed on to appear with Wayans are dancer/choreographer Cheryl Burke, recording artists Joe Jonas, Nicole Scherzinger and Ciara, standup comedian Jeff Dye and actor Alan Ritchson.

Developed by Israel’s Armoza Formats, I Can Do That! is currently in production in more than 15 countries, including Italy, Brazil, Spain, Finland and Mexico. It will be produced in the U.S. by Universal Television. Executive producers are Audrey Morrissey (The Voice) and Matilda Zoltowski (Strictly Come Dancing). Rick Alvarez, Avi Armoza, Nehama Cohen, Elwin De Groot, Steve Harris and Wayans will also executive produce.

And it looks like the cast of the Marlon Wayans NBC show has been having a blast filming already.
