Producer, DJ and Mad Decent label chief Diplo has partnered with classic footwear brand K-Swiss to create its recently announced “The Board” campaign. The initiative was spearheaded by Diplo and will grant 100 entrepreneurs an opportunity to collaborate and connect regarding creative measures to boost the K-Swiss brand while learning from industry insiders.

From its offices in Westlake Village, Ca., K-Swiss released Monday (April 13) its most recent announcement in The Board’s ongoing developments. The company announced that over 4,000 applicants have applied for a chance to work with Diplo and K-Swiss, with the application period ending in weeks. Diplo will introduce a specialized six-course curriculum to The Board via a members-only web site. These specialized sessions will be hosted by model and blogger Natalie Suarez.

The six sessions are: “Brand Positioning” led by Scott Sasso of 10 Deep; “Ideas With A Conscience” led by Tyler Gage and Dan MacCombie of Runa; “Sneaker Design” with Jeff Ng of Staple Design; “Lookbook Shoot” with Rachael Wang of Style.com; “Social Media” with The Fat Jew; and “Business Plan” with Sharmadean Reid of WAH Nails.

In each of the six sessions, members of The Board will be selected for special prizes and other perks based on the ideas they introduce.
