It was a little later than expected, but Ciara went out on her first public date with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. The couple attended the White House State Dinner on Tuesday night (April 28).

The pair, who are rumored to be dating, attended the glitzy dinner sporting broad smiles and even holding hands at one point.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback, 26, wore a simple black tuxedo while the “Promise” singer, 29, opted for a dazzling gold gown that highlighted her shoulders and arms — a la Michelle Obama.
Tuesday’s event was the couple’s first official outing together. Many thought he would take the pop star to Saturday’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner, but chose to take his grandmother instead.
Judging by how Wilson moves, Ciara has a ways to go before locking him down.
