Let’s keep in mind that the possibility of Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr. ever stepping in the ring and squaring off is pretty much nil. Nevertheless, Iron Mike going off on Money in an interview makes for wonderfully facinating entertainment.

First, the background. After some boxing talk with Undisputed Champion Network—including Tyson saying he thinks Mayweather vs. Pacquiao will end in a knockout and won’t go the distance—the former heavyweight champ was asked about Money’s claims that he’s a better fighter than Muhammad Ali.

“He’s very delusional,” was Tyson’s thought about Mayweather’s claim, adding, “Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people, greatness is being accepted by the people.”

This is when the slander truly commenced. “He can’t even take his kids along to school by himself. He’s a little scared man. He’s a very small scared man.”

Well damn. Let the record show that this writer years ago saw Tyson walking near 137th St. and Amsterdam like a civilian with no bodyguards in sight.

We’re going to go ahead and say T.I. probably agrees with Tyson, too.
