If you’re like the rest of the world wondering who the attractive woman reporting from inside the Golden State Warriors locker room was, get in line. Her name is Rosalyn Gold-Onwude and we’re learning a lot about her in a short amount of time.
What sparked our interest was a tweet from ESPN Highly Questionable co-host Bomani Jones and a screenshot of Gold-Onwude giving the epic staredown to another reporter who butted in while she was chatting up Harrison Barnes. However, it appears that there’s no beef in the journalism world according to this response.
While Ms. Gold-Onwude is turning heads as a basketball analyst and sideline reporter, there are a lot of layers to her story. And it appears we’re all late on the bandwagon as she’s had quite a career in sports well before broadcasting

She Hails From The Borough Of Queens
Gold-Onwude was born and raised in Queens, New York.
Basketball Is In Her Blood
Gold-Onwude was a star high school basketball player, leading her Archbishop Molly Stanners team to state championships in 2003 and 2004. She was the first player from her school to be selected to play for a Division I program.
Stanford Star
Gold-Onwude had a stellar career at Stanford University and remains the school’s second-leading scorer in the Women’s Basketball division. She also owns the steals and assists record.
Naija All Day
Gold-Onwude’s father is a Nigerian native and in 2011, she was invited to play for the African nation’s basketball team.
Wears Many Hats
Aside from working the sideline for Golden State Warriors, Gold-Onwude also called select games for ESPN, worked for Pac-12 radio network, and broadcasting for the WNBA.
