If you’re a 90s baby Hip-Hop fan or below, chances are you have fond (and impure) memories of BET Uncut. The popular music video segment ran from during most of the early to mid 00s with a heavy focus on established and struggle rappers who wanted to slip their NC-17 rated clips past daytime censors.

Videos such Nelly’s “Tip Drill,” White Jesus’ “What That Thang Smell Like” and Ludacris’ “P-Poppin'” were just a handful of the explicit fodder one could catch on the channel around 3 a.m.

After airing its last episode around 2006, Black Sports Online is reporting that BET Uncut may be poised from a comeback after allowing WorldStarHipHop to take the reins all these years.

Kel Dansby interviewed Pooch Hall of The Game for the NBAPA’s Player Awards and he revealed that BET Uncut was returning to late night television.

While it’s unclear how and why Debra Lee approved this move but let’s just say Black Twitter will surely eat up the airings of a BET Uncut in 2015.

UPDATE: BET Uncut is officially back.
