Struggle Fashion Line

As of Saturday, July 25, Tyga’s Last Kings retail store on Melrose and Fairfax is still open for business. Maybe “struggle” is being a bit harsh. Perhaps the most damning evidence against Tyga was his appearance on the MTV show Bustas and telling the cameras he enjoyed a cushy suburban existence before doing an about face and claiming Compton.

There are two schools of thought here. Either Tyga didn’t care about sales, so the 2,200 units he moved of The Gold Album: 18^th Dynasty are all icing on the cake. The other opinion would be that Tyga’s much-ballyhooed independent project mimicked a fish out of water.
