Unlike his cousin Daz Dillinger, Snoop Dogg really isn’t too thrilled with the thought of doing a theatrical biopic on his life and times–as of right now.

While speaking to Hip-Hop Wired at this year’s fantastic BMI R&B & Hip-Hop Awards, the topic of him possibly expanding on the Straight Outta Compton universe came up and he shut down rumors once and for all.

“I’m still creating the Snoop story,” the 43-years-young rap star humbly admitted. “It’s still happening as we speak. I don’t feel like I’m ready [for that type of depiction] and I feel like I got more to do and when I’m able to settle down and say, ‘O.K. I’m ready to document my life and career whatnot,’ then I’ll do it but right now, I’m loving the fact that N.W.A did they thing since I grew up a fan of their’s and letting their movie breathe.”

Speaking of the Straight Outta Compton movie, there is a small Snoop Dogg spot in the film, played by Keith Stanfield, who readily admitted to critics he looked nothing like his iconic likeness. Snoop happened to agree but he still gave his stamp of approval thanks to the mannerisms, nevertheless.

Watch the notion of a current Snoop Dogg biopic go up in smoke in our exclusive interview above. Also, don’t sleep on Tha Doggfather’s current album Bush, especially if you’re grown.
